Music is the theme for the latest fine craft exhibition on display at the Gallery at The Craft Center and League of NH Craftsmen Headquarters. Music from Our Handsis a multi-media exhibition featuring the work of juried members of the League of NH Craftsmen. The exhibition features two electric guitars, three acoustic guitars, a sterling silver flute, a gourd, whistles, vase percussion, as well as other fine handcrafted pieces that include musical elements. An opening receptionis scheduled for January 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. Exhibit open through March 21, 2012.

New Hampshire Children's Museum will celebrate the cultural traditions of Mardi Gras. Highlights of the Family Mardi Gras Celebration include live Cajun music by The Fiddling Thomsons, mask making and children's parades through the museum led by Albert the Costumed Alligator. There will also be New Orleans regional foods to sample, and each visitor will receive a strand of colorful Mardi Gras beads to wear and take home.
