Join us for Winter Lunch at Castle in the Clouds! Winter Lunch at the Castle is back and offers the perfect blend of delicious food, rustic ambiance, and winter fun to create unforgettable dining experience in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

Make it a Day at the Castle!
Elevate your winter outing by turning it into a day of exploration and enjoyment. Plan a hike, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing on the picturesque Lakes Region Conservation Trust trails, before or after heading over to the Carriage House Restaurant to enjoy the delights of Winter Lunch at the Castle.

Embrace the Season with Winter Lunch at the Castle
Winter Lunch at the Castle is $40 per person (Adult) and $20 (12 & Under ordering from Children’s Menu) and includes your choice of starter, entrée, nonalcoholic beverage as well as tax and gratuity. Full bar and dessert options are available for purchase.

Castle in the Clouds requires online reservations to be made by midnight of the preceding Thursday. You’ll be presented with the current prix fixe menu upon arrival at the Carriage House Restaurant.

All sales are final. There are no refunds, transfers to other dates, or exchanges after reservations are purchased.

The mid-19th century Hudson River School, considered the first major American art movement, brought painters like Thomas Cole and Frederic Edwin Church to the Lakes and White Mountain regions. This “virtual museum” event will explore these iconic works and the school’s lasting influence on artists today.

Participants will also enjoy a hands-on activity: “Color Your Own Mt. Chocorua”, recreating the style and beauty of the Hudson River School for themselves.

Manchester Choral Society Invites Singers to Open Rehearsal

Singers from across the region are invited to experience the Manchester Choral Society (MCS) firsthand at an Open Rehearsal. This marks the start of an exciting spring collaboration with the Seacoast ensemble Portsmouth Pro Musica (PPM), featuring:
  • Franz Schubert’s Mass in E-flat
  • Felix Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42
The performances will bring together 80+ singers, professional soloists, and a full orchestra under the shared direction of Dan Perkins (MCS) and Priscilla French (PPM).

9th Annual Bob Gilman Fun Run- Ski & Snowboard Race

Open to all ages and abilities, this beloved event lets participants take up to two timed runs for prizes across over a dozen age categories. With 300+ racers and a lively crowd of spectators aged 2–89, the Fun Run is a true community celebration of skiing and snowboarding.

All proceeds benefit Granite State Generosity, supporting those with life-changing or life-threatening diseases and disabilities in NH

This race honors Bob Gilman, who in the late 1980s helped save Manchester High School ski programs and championed McIntyre Ski Area until his passing in 1995. His dedication and love for skiing live on in this annual event.

Celebrate Bob’s legacy, enjoy a fun-filled morning on the slopes, and support a great cause!
