The feel of a bygone era fills our cozy hearth room during these signature dinners, where a small group of guests join in the preparation of a 19th-century meal cooked in our open hearth. The evening begins with costumed interpreters teaching guests about 19th-century kitchens and food preparation. Guests then assist in preparing the meal, then gather at the hearth table to dine. Guests may bring wine and beer. For guests ages 16 and older. Reservations are being taken; space is limited. Dinner dates: January 21 and March 18

Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Chocolate Festival 2017 - North Conway, NH

Ski, snowshoe, walk, or ride from Inn to Inn and receive free chocolate treats at each inn. Chocoholics travel by cross country ski or snowshoes from inn to inn to enjoy chocolate prepared every way imaginable. Every participant will have a Festival map and brochure for each trailside business to validate to confirm your stop. Visit each of the trailside stops to enter the drawing for a $200 gift certificate. Participating inns are 1785 Inn, Adventure Suites, Eastern Inns, Stonehurst Manor, Old Field House, Riverside Inn B&B, the Touring Center at Ragged Mountain Equipment,Whitaker Woods Meeting House.
