After a fun day at Morningside Flight Park, how great would it be to be able to stay over for a night or longer? The good news is, you can do that! The flight park’s back side of the training hill, amid a beautiful old-growth forest, hosts an expansive camping area. And in that area are cozy platform cabins: 120-square-foot two-person getaways set on raised platforms. Inside is a full-sized bed, end table, solar lighting and a USB charging station. Each cabin has a clean chemical toilet. Nearby amenities include picnic tables, a kitchen and bathhouse. You’re close to fire pits, swimming and fishing ponds. For groups of four to six, a Morningside Mountain summit cabin features a large deck and windows, vaulted ceilings and spectacular views of gliders and sunsets.
