Salomon Spring Trail Run/Walk Series – Gorham NH

May 9, 2024 - Jun 13, 2024 Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, Pinkham Notch, 1 Mt. Washington Auto Road Gorham, NH

A weekly trail running/walking series for all abilities and ages at the base of Mt. Washington. Every Thursday for six weeks, May 9 through June 13, racers can run/walk the long, short, or mini courses from 3:30-7 p.m. Options for timed or untimed! Individuals may register for single-day participation on-site only.
3:30-7 p.m. weekly on Thursdays
1-time race: Adults: $10, Junior: $5; Full Series (6-weeks): Adults, $49, Junior (ages 5-17) $15

Alton Weagle Day 2024 – Gorham NH

May 25, 2024 - May 25, 2024 Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, Pinkham Notch, 1 Mt. Washington Auto Road Gorham, NH

This day honors the spirit of Alton Weagle, a quirky record-holder who climbed the Mt. Washington Auto Road in a number of unique ways, including walking backward and blindfolded. Alton Weagle Day is a celebration of all of the unique ascents that have happened since, including by camel, Segway, and even the odd pogo sticks that have been the first up the mountain. Participants are invited to dream up a “first ascent” and submit their ideas to marketing@mt-washington.com.

Black Fly Trail Run & Relay 2024 – Gorham NH

Summer Mountain Bike Series 2024 – Gorham NH

A weekly mountain bike series for all abilities and ages. Every Tuesday for 6 weeks, racers can ride the long, short, or mini courses from 3:30-6:45 p.m. The courses are a mix of wide carriage roads and more challenging single-track trails.

The largest annual fundraiser for the Mount Washington Observatory après hike expo is proudly hosted at the base of Mt. Washington Auto Road at Great Glen Trails. All outdoor enthusiasts are invited to raise funds, set goals, and earn gear!

Moat Mountain 24 Hours of Great Glen – Gorham NH

Join for the best bike race and party of the summer. Register as a solo competitor or a team of two, four, or five on the roughly 9-mile course throughout the galaxy of Great Glen Trails. For the 2024 theme, participants travel to outer space for the race, camping, parties, kids’ events, live music, and bash celebrating the most delicious suds around made by Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewery. This year is the 24th Anniversary of Moat Mountain and Great Glen's 24th 24 Hour Race, in year 2024!
