Dog sledding in New Hampshire is a great winter adventure

For everyone who has commanded their mutt to ‘Mush’ only to get a bored look in return this is your opportunity to take a canine thrill ride. Not only will you get an actual ride, which is not as easy as it looks in the movies, but you’ll learn about the dogs, sleds and other details from the musher.

Hop aboard a dog sled adventure for a good cause

Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is home to over 100 sled dogs, many of which are rescue and second chance. Their care is supported through year-round recreational dog sledding tours. The mushers use traditional sleds during the winter season, or rolling dog sleds when there's no snow on the ground. Day tours in spring, summer and fall give you an incredible, interactive dog sledding experience that enables you to spend time meeting the sled dogs, helping the musher harness and hitch the team, enjoying a dog sled ride and rewarding the sled dogs for a job well done. Hit the trails on a ride of varying lengths and you’ll make scenic stops to soak in the views and have plenty of photo opportunities.
