Hooksett Dog Park

Gated park area with plenty of tables and benches includes a small area for dogs less than 30 pounds. Fun obstacles for dogs to play with (and in).
Hours: 6 a.m. to dusk
Dog Rules: Dogs must wear current license and vaccination tags. Dogs must be leashed when exiting or entering the area. Prohibited: Female dogs in heat. Glass containers. Food. Animals other than dogs. Spikes and choke collars. Dogs under 4 months old.
People Rules: All handlers must be over 16; children 8 and under are not allowed in the off-leash area; children 9 to 16 must be supervised by an adult. Handlers must be with their dogs at all times. Handlers must properly remove and dispose of their dog’s waste. Apparatus is for dogs only. Handlers must fill in holes their dogs dig. Dogs must be removed from park at first sign of aggression. No more than two dogs to one handler at any time.
Derry Dog Park

A completely fenced-in area across from the transfer station, the park includes many agility obstacles. A small-dog area is open for dogs 20 pounds and under.
Hours: Sunrise to sunset
Dog Rules: Dogs must wear current license and vaccination tags and be leashed when entering and exiting the area. A dog that bites or impacts a person is immediately and permanently expelled from the park.
Prohibited: Female dogs in heat. Glass containers. Food. People climbing on dog play apparatus. Animals other than dogs.
People Rules:You must carry out whatever you carry in and clean up after your dog. You must watch your dog at all times. Handlers must be over 16; children 8 and under are not allowed in; children 9 to 16 must be supervised by an adult. You must fill in any holes your dog digs. No more than two dogs per handler at any one time.
Manchester Dog Park

A 10,000-square-foot fenced area with a double-gated entrance. No running water on-site. Obstacles for dog play. Tables and chairs.
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Dog Rules:Dogs must have current vaccination, registration, membership tag and wear them. Dogs that bite a human are automatically and permanently banned. Dogs must wear a proper fitting collar or harness. Dogs must be leashed entering and exiting the area.
Prohibited:Female dogs in heat. Animals other than dogs. Spike and choke collars. Dogs under 4 months old. Food. Glass containers. Dog grooming.
People Rules:People must clean up after their dogs and fill in any holes their dogs dig. Rules and regulations are posted at the gated entrance outside of the fenced area. Monitor unspayed and unneutered dogs carefully. Dog bites must be reported to the Manchester Health Department within 24 hours. Handlers must be 16 or older. Children under 8 not permitted; those 9 to 15 must be accompanied by adult 18 or older. No more than two dogs per handler at any time. Must remove dog immediately if it displays aggressive behavior. Apparatus in the park is for dogs only.

Riverside Dog Park

One-acre, fenced-in park inside Riverside Park.
Hours: Park closes at 9 p.m.
Concord Dog Park

This fenced park is in Terrill Park near the Merrimack River. Bring your own water and bag to pick up waste.
Hours: Sunrise to sunset. Closes for winter just before first snowfall of the season: Check website for specific date.

Merrimack Dog Park at Wasserman Park

This free park within Wasserman Park is three-quarters of an acre, divided into sections for large and small dogs. There is no water source available for public use.

Dog Rules:Dogs must be leashed entering and exiting area. Dogs must wear current license and vaccination tags. Dogs more than 30 pounds not allowed in small-dog area. Dogs under 6 months old not allowed. Aggressive dogs not allowed.
Prohibited:Unattended dogs. Sick dogs. Female dogs in heat. Spike or choke collars.
People Rules:No more than two dogs per handler. Handler must be in fenced-in area. Children under 8 not allowed. Children 9 to 15 must be supervised by an adult. Handlers must be at least 16. Handlers must properly dispose of waste. Apparatus is for dogs only.
Hudson Dog Park at Benson Park

This park features more than 5,000 square feet of fenced-in, mainly dirt, terrain. There is a smaller, separate fenced in area for puppies and other small dogs.
Hours: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. May through August, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. September through October, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. November through February, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. March through April
Dog Rules: Dogs must wear current license and rabies vaccination tags.
Prohibited: Female dogs in heat. Prong or choke collars.
People Rules:All dog waste must be picked up and properly disposed of. Ownersmust have voice control over their dog and observe them at all times. Handlers must be 18 or older; children 10 or younger are not allowed in the off-leash area; children 11 through 17 must be supervised by an adult. No more than two dogs to any one handler at one time.
