Monadnock area offers many campgrounds with excellent facilities

Campgrounds with very reasonable rates operate at state parks in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, including at Greenfield State Park,. Campgrounds offer a wide variety of amenities in terms of bathrooms, showers, dumping and hookups. Also, accessibility to nearby fishing, hunting and other outdoor sports varies widely. Be sure to contact individual campgrounds for detailed information on accommodations, which can change seasonally. This region of rolling farmland and forest surrounding the cities of Keene, Marlborough, Peterborough, and Jaffrey takes its name from the towering Mount Monadnock. Visitors enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, water sports and snow sports in the region’s seven parks, including Greenfield State Park, Chesterfield Gorge State Park, Pisgah State Park, and Rhododendron State Park.
