Boat Ramps - NH Statewide

Boat ramps are scattered widely among the many fresh-water inland lakes and rivers, like Lake Winnipesaukee and the Squam lakes, for which New Hampshire is justly famous among people who love water sports. Most locations for fishing have access to boat ramps and boat launches. Need lodging? Lake resorts in New Hampshire cover the spectrum from elite hideaways for dedicated anglers to large properties that accommodate big families and offer lots of things to do, including water sports.

Easy access to the water is a plus for boaters who want to enjoy this region’s many lakes

With Lake Winnipesaukee as its centerpiece, and other lakes scattered throughout the area, including Squam, Winnisquam, Newfound and Ossipee, the Lakes Region offers plenty of places to launch your boat, kayak or canoe. Many resorts, hotels and inns have private docks, ramps or beach access, and some have full-service marinas. Several boat companies also have public launches. You can book everything from efficiency suites right on the lake to a vacation home with a boat slip. If you don’t have your own boat, it’s not a problem: Dozens of places on the water rent everything from sailboats and fishing boats to pontoons and kayaks. Many have convenience stores attached to provide everything you need for your perfect day on the lake.
