White Mountains region offers swimming in clear mountain lakes, resort pools

Swim in the sparkling waters of Purity Lake in the scenic White Mountains all summer long. The natural, spring–fed body of water stretches for 75 acres from one end of the resort to the other. Five sandy beaches are located around the lake and Purity Island Beach offers both sandy and grassy areas to relax on plus a playground for the kids. You’ll find a floating dock, and the “Purity Iceberg”, a 25 foot climbing wall and slide combo. In the cool cool cool of other months there’s heated comfort in the indoor pool and hot tub at The Mill Fitness Center. A lounge area surrounding the pool offers lots of seating for reading, sleeping and serious chilling.
