Fairs & festivals in Lakes Region NH entertain with music, food, art, outdoor fun

Celebrate the natural world in exciting family activities and attractions in the Lakes region. At the Lakes region's fairs and festivals, enjoy outdoor fun and educational activities like hayrides, fishing, corn mazes and petting zoos, demonstrations of traditional rural skills and guided walks in the woods. Top musical artists perform in the region and Mother Earth’s Creations Pow Wow gathers over 200 Native Americans from New England to celebrate their heritage and share their activities and traditional dances.

Get into the festival mood this winter and spring!

Join us in the Lakes Region in 2023 for some great late winter & early spring festivities!
  • March: The Wolfeboro Winter Carnival runs through March 4th with family activities, skating, skiing and sleigh rides. On March 11, stop off at The Inn on Main for great music, food & drink, and snow tubing at Chill on the Hill. And March 18-19 is Maple Sugar Weekend throughout the state, so stop by one of the local sugarhouses for some sweet treats!
  • April: Wolfeboro Area Restaurant Week runs from the 14th to the 22nd, featuring great dining and specials at nearby restaurants.
  • May: Events really start to heat up leading into Memorial Day, starting with the New England Coffee Festival on May 19-20 in Laconia and the 39th Annual Winni Fishing Derby on the 19th-21st. Then, make the trip to Meredith from May 27-29 for the Memorial Day Weekend Craft Festival at Mill Falls Marketplace.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023, Laconia Motorcycle Week is the premier gathering of bikes and riders in New England. Come celebrate with fellow riders from across the country, and enjoy riding through the scenic New Hampshire scenery. There's be lots of great food, live music, commemoration, and even some racing!
