Join us for Winter Lunch at Castle in the Clouds! Winter Lunch at the Castle is back and offers the perfect blend of delicious food, rustic ambiance, and winter fun to create unforgettable dining experience in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

Make it a Day at the Castle!
Elevate your winter outing by turning it into a day of exploration and enjoyment. Plan a hike, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing on the picturesque Lakes Region Conservation Trust trails, before or after heading over to the Carriage House Restaurant to enjoy the delights of Winter Lunch at the Castle.

Embrace the Season with Winter Lunch at the Castle
Winter Lunch at the Castle is $40 per person (Adult) and $20 (12 & Under ordering from Children’s Menu) and includes your choice of starter, entrée, nonalcoholic beverage as well as tax and gratuity. Full bar and dessert options are available for purchase.

Castle in the Clouds requires online reservations to be made by midnight of the preceding Thursday. You’ll be presented with the current prix fixe menu upon arrival at the Carriage House Restaurant.

All sales are final. There are no refunds, transfers to other dates, or exchanges after reservations are purchased.

The Hearth Of Ireland: A Pairing Experience At White Mountain Hotel & Resort

Upon arrival, guests will experience a welcome reception followed by a four-course Irish-inspired dinner on Saturday evening in The Echo Ballroom, expertly paired with either four premium whiskeys or four curated wines (preselected by each guest), and complete with storytelling by Gary Sullivan.

New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival 2026

Join us at the 51st Annual New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival, September 18 – 20, 2026 at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, NH.

This three-day celebration showcases the sights, sounds, and spirit of Scotland through traditional heavy athletics, live music and entertainment, food and drink, cultural activities, and more.

Cheer on your favorite athletes as they compete in The Caledonian Clash. Watch Scotland’s National Chef, Gary Maclean, demonstrate his culinary chops. Salute the pipes and drums as they march into parade square or dance along to the bands performing under the concert tent. Take a stroll down vendor village or participate in a free Try It class. Stop for a photo with the Highland cows, sample Scottish food, beer, and whisky, or trace your roots in Clan Village. You don’t have to be Scottish to enjoy this signature event presented by NHSCOT. Big Watch: Film Screening & Discussion with NH Humanities

Join us for a special screening and guided discussion featuring a short excerpt from The American Revolution, a new documentary directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt.

The featured segment, “The Spirit of Service,” explores service as a defining American value—from the nation’s founding to the present day—highlighting themes of volunteerism, civic engagement, and public leadership.

Following the screening, join a facilitated community conversation led by Joshua Duclos of New Hampshire Humanities. Together, participants will reflect on questions of memory, identity, and community, including:

What moments from our past define who we are today?
What key historical events have shaped your local community?
How do these shared memories influence our vision for the future?

This program invites thoughtful dialogue and meaningful reflection on how history connects us—and how we “remember together.”
