1st Annual Purity Spring Sled Dog Classic

Purity Spring Resort is proud to host the 1st Annual Purity Spring Sled Dog Classic in East Madison, NH on March 8-9, 2007. Located just 15 minutes south of Conway, Purity Spring offers an ideal location for mushers and spectators alike. Sled Dog races will take place on the resort's regularly-groomed XC Skiing trails and winds through unblemished, lakeside, pine and birch forests and offers a variety of turns, short climbs and drops. Races will include a 6 and 8 Dog Pro/Sportsman, an Open Class, Skijoring, 1 and 3 Dog Junior, and 4 Dog Pro/Sportsman classes. Home of King Pine Ski Area, Purity Spring Resort is well-known throughout New England for the variety of winter activities it offers. From skiing and snowboarding to snowtubing and nordic skiing, the resort offers something for everyone. Bring the kids... this is an event that the entire family will love!

This park is set on 9,600 acres, amid lakes, hills and forest. Visitors will find hiking trails, play areas, archery ranges, a nature center, and museums dedicated to camping, snowmobiling and the Civilian Conservation Corps. There are hunting areas, fishing in streams and ponds, mountain biking trails, nature programs, boating, a beach and canoeing.
