Ski Areas in New Hampshire
New Hampshire is a skier’s paradise with large mountains and easy access from southern New England. New Hampshire ski areas and resorts are concentrated in the White Mountains. Here you’ll find Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Wildcat Mountain, Attitash, Bretton Woods, and Cannon Mountain, among others. While each ski area is destination in itself with many and varied trails, their close proximity makes it easy to ski two or more mountains during a few days’ visit. Outside of the White Mountains are the notable ski areas of Gunstock, in the Lakes region, and Mount Sunapee and Ragged Mountain in the Dartmouth region. These are substantial ski areas that also have great views to enjoy. Scattered throughout New Hampshire are smaller ski areas that are great for families, beginners, and those wanting a less costly day on the slopes.
